Filmed in Los Angeles, Larry is dead was made for Host Cinema, a programme of one-minute moving image artworks by artists from across the UK and Europe. Host invited artists to create a response to the cinematic experience, and without exception the selected artists have produced challenging and visually accomplished work that presents a diverse range of insight into the theme. This screening offers an opportunity to access the ongoing debate surrounding the cinematic image and its relationship with the wider world beyond the screen.
